Introduction

Salman Shakeel ("we," "our," or "us") operates the GlowLog mobile application (the "App"), available on the Apple App Store and Google Play. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our App on either platform.

We take your privacy seriously. GlowLog is designed so that all personal data — including your photos, skin ratings, and product notes — remains stored only on your device. We do not collect, upload, or transmit your data to any server.

Information We Collect

GlowLog collects the following information, all of which is stored locally on your device and never transmitted to us or any third party:

• Product information: Product names, skin type tags, start dates, and optional trial notes you enter.
• Photos: Weekly check-in selfies taken through the in-app camera or selected from your photo library. These are stored only in the App's local storage.
• Skin ratings: Numerical ratings (1–5) you assign during each check-in.
• Reaction logs: Tags and optional notes you record about skin reactions such as breakouts, dryness, or irritation.
• Result Cards: Auto-generated before-and-after compositions created from your check-in data and stored locally until you choose to export or delete them.

Information We Do NOT Collect

We do not collect, upload, or have access to:

• Your name, email address, phone number, or any personal identifiers
• Your location data
• Your device identifiers or advertising ID
• Usage analytics or crash reports
• Your photo library contents (we only access specific photos you explicitly select)

Permissions

GlowLog requests the following permissions solely for the features described:

Camera

Requested the first time you tap Check In inside an active trial. Used exclusively to take weekly progress selfies. Your photos are stored only on your device and are never uploaded. If you decline, you can still log reactions and notes, and you may enable camera access later in your device settings.

Photo Library

Requested the first time you tap the gallery icon on the check-in screen to upload an existing photo. Used exclusively to select a selfie for your check-in. We do not read or access any other photos in your library. If you decline, you can still take a new photo using the in-app camera.

Local Notifications

Requested after you create your first active trial. Used to send weekly check-in reminders. No notification data is transmitted off your device. You can adjust or disable notifications at any time in your device settings.

Data Storage & Security

All data collected by GlowLog is stored locally on your device using the App's internal storage. We do not operate servers, databases, or cloud storage associated with the App. Because your data never leaves your device, there is no risk of data breach from our side. We recommend enabling your device's built-in security features — such as passcode, Face ID, or Touch ID — to protect the App and your data.

Data Deletion

You can delete any individual trial, check-in photo, reaction log, or Result Card at any time from within the App. To delete all GlowLog data, uninstall the App from your device. Because all data is stored locally, uninstalling the App permanently removes all associated data.

Third-Party Services

GlowLog does not integrate any third-party analytics, advertising, or crash reporting SDKs. The App contains no code that transmits data to third parties.

If you choose to export and share a Result Card via the native share sheet, the exported image is handled entirely by your device's operating system and the app you select (e.g., Instagram, WhatsApp). GlowLog has no control over how those apps handle the shared content.

Children's Privacy

GlowLog is not intended for use by children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us at engr.salmankh.77@gmail.com and we will take steps to delete such information.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes.
